Park the car with the tinted window facing the sun for about an hour. The film should be ready to peel. Leave the garbage bag in place so the ammonia does not dry out. Use a razor blade to lift the film in one corner. Start on a corner where there are no defroster lines. Try to peel the film off in one piece. If the ammonia dries the film will harden again so spray with ammonia as you peel.
