Fitness And Wellness Principles – Part two – Exercise And Fitness

Being physically top fit provides a foundation for all around health and wellness (Health and Fitness Principles). We can determine conditioning as, the actual physical skills and attributes which one has that enables them to do the tasks of daily living effectively and alertly, while leaving a sufficient amount of power in reserve for recreational and/or emergency pursuits (Health and Fitness Principles). Whenever we notice the phrase, physical fitness, we typically think of activities such as running, jumping, and lifting weights. But, fitness involves a lot more than how much you are able to “lift”, how quickly you can run, or how tall you can jump (Physical Activity and Health).

Practically speaking, it has much more to do with the ability of yours to easily and effectively carry out frequent activities like shoveling snow, back packing, mowing grass, or alpilean testimonials (my sources) playing with the children of yours.

So what can exercise do for me?

Regular physical exercise has become associated with decreased risk for many illnesses. According to the American Heart Association, regular, moderate exercise is found to deliver the second benefits:

o Decreased risk of heart disease

o Decreased risk of heart attack

o Lower total cholesterol

o Lower blood pressure
