As mentioned above, cabinets offer a way to create storage that isn’t out in the open. You can also save space by using ironing boards that fold up behind the door, getting laundry hampers/baskets that can be folded or otherwise compacted (i.e. mesh hampers), and adding wall-mounted hanging racks that can be pushed/folded nearly flush with the wall when they’re not in use.

Well, again, anything that can block the wind will help. Like stated earlier, your hands are the first line of defense. Dirtbike style hand guards will keep some of the wind off your mitts. If you want to keep them toasty you can invest in some grip heaters also. Now Grip heaters are a bit limited as they really only work the palm of your hand. With the hand guards in place as well your fingers will thank you. Plus, if your bike has that kind of ruff and tumble look going for it, they’ll fit right in.
NOTE: You may want to modify these instructions. Try replacing the hub with an old, used 7 1/4 inch skill saw blade. The larger surface area will give you more space to screw or bolt the blades to. The larger the blades, the more important this connection becomes. For our larger motor, we used a metal slow moving vehicle sign, reinforced with a ring of wood, to bolt the pvc blades to. This gives you lots of room to work with. We also used 1/4 inch bolts rather than drilling and tapping holes. I’ve also see old aluminum frying pans used for this purpose. They are light and solid!
